Southgate Junior High School
This is shooting toward the northwest. This is apparently a community project
for the joggers and walkers but so far is useless for competition. 5 lanes and
absolutely no start or finish lines. The square corners do slow runners to the
point that I thought the track was long. I carefully measured it and came up
with it being .47 cm short of 400 meters (not bad for crude measurement) right
where it should be. They also store these mini-bleachers (far right) on the
track. And there is one long jump runway. The night lighting here is decent.
