Long Beach City College
Looking southwest, you can see the big impressive stands on the west side--there
is nothing on the east side where track events finish. They were just warming
up for a football game when I shot this--not a big crowd in attendance yet.
The steeplechase barriers are kept in storage, but the pit is here on the north
end causing the finish to be on the opposite end.
At the south end of the sprint straight is this short, 2 lane wide, All Weather
ramp to nowhere. I don't have any idea why this exists. Mt. SAC has a similar
ramp away from the track.
