They originally had a 10 lane straightaway. Obviously they partially resurfaced (just a layer of asphalt on the circular track section) and did not paint lines afterward. |

This still is a rather soft track. There is a large amount of rubber to its content. The flakes of rubber that I complained about have been reduced. Aparently the loose chips were swept up. |
In the sweeping process (possibly natural sweeping), much of the rubber became imbedded in the dirt, turning it black adjacent to the track. Notice the old style (imperial) track marking disks. This track has been here a while. |
