This merits discussion because of the amount of money they spent to build this
. . . in my opinion wrong.
I can only guess at the millions of dollars they spend building this elevated
soccer field and training track over a parking garage. But it is a functional
facility for neither. By widening the footprint in both directions, over the
access road and single level parking lot, they could have built a functional
competition track and enough stands to watch their soccer games. Subsequently,
who marks their track in imperial distances these days?
